Fish the way to locals do with bamboo rod, hook, bait, and catch some piranha.

One of our most recommended tours. Navigate by canoe through the great Amazon River to where the fish are. Take your craft rod, place bait on the hook and be patient, you may catch some of the more than 2000 varieties of fish unique to the Amazon.

Embark on a pleasurable native fishing trip into one of the small tributaries of the Amazon River.  Learn the local techniques of fishing, with a stick made from a plant bark, nylon line, hook and bait. This way you will learn how to catch lots of piranha in a couple of hours. In this part of the Amazon there are about 2,000 species of fish such as Largemouth peacock bass (cichla monoculus), locally known as Tucunare, Dragon fish (Arowana) and Paiche (Arapaima Gigas). During this excursion you can also have the opportunity to look out for the Pink River Dolphin (Inia Geoffrensis).
